8 Years Scaling B2B Revenue

Founder, Cardinal

I — Credibility

The Builder

Built from all of it.

01

Service

Close to Home

A standard set before the work began. Jeff's grandfather was a Purple Heart recipient and a prisoner of war. That standard — discipline under real pressure, systems built before the moment demands them — shaped how this family operates, long before it shaped how Cardinal does.

02

Enterprise Sales

Pressure closes deals. Any deal.

Eight years building revenue functions from zero — six at ACTO, seed to Series B ($25M raised), closing seven-figure contracts with complex buying committees; two at KeyOps, building the full revenue function for an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform. The same discipline that closed those contracts is building Ainsworth Group and Cardinal now.

03

Early to Agentic AI

Before the category had a name.

At ACTO, starting in 2017, Jeff helped commercialize some of the earliest agentic AI systems sold into the enterprise — technology built not just to answer questions, but to take action. At KeyOps, he helped validate the life sciences market for AI-powered clinical intelligence before "agentic AI" was an industry term. That's the thesis Cardinal is built on: specialized intelligence, applied where it's underserved.

04

Raised in Real Estate

The apprenticeship was real.

Jeff spent childhood alongside his grandfather collecting rent, maintaining properties, talking to tenants. It wasn't formal. It was real, and it never left. His grandmother built the operation first — finding deals, reading sellers, knowing a block before anyone else did. His grandfather joined as a second act. Together, over four decades, they scaled it past 100 properties — no software, no systems, just instinct and discipline, proven by hand.

05

Founder, Ainsworth Group

Closing the gap large companies never had to think about.

Ainsworth Group helps local businesses compete bigger — the marketing, technology, and operating systems independent businesses rarely get access to. Ainsworth Group also develops Cardinal, our proprietary intelligence software, built as one foundation specialized across Business, Church, and Medical.

"The standard is the same whether the asset is a building or a model."

The Ainsworth Name

Old Anglo-Saxon, Lancashire, England. "The enclosed homestead." Estate origins dating to the 1200s.

True North. Fixed Bearing. Absolute.

Three principles

I

Direction

True North. Fixed Bearing.

Cardinal points do not move. Not approximate. Not relative. Absolute. His grandparents operated the same way — no map, no blueprint, and still they found true north and built something that lasted.

II

Permanence

Holds Its Color.

The cardinal holds its color through winter. When everything fades, it stays. His grandparents built a real estate and property management operation that scaled past 100 properties. The Ainsworth name has carried weight since Lancashire in the 1200s. What's being built now is meant to last the same way — not for a cycle, for the long line.

III

Elevation

The Arc Continues.

His grandparents went from farming families to a real estate operation built by hand, one generation, no blueprint. Jeff went from collecting rent beside his grandfather to building the infrastructure that helps local businesses and operators do at scale what his family once did by hand. That's not a startup story. That's a generational arc.

III — The Foundation

The Foundation

Two stories that explain the rest. Everything after is a variation on these two.

The record kept. The standard held.
The record kept. The standard held.

01 · The Foundation

Neither of them finished high school. No degree, no capital, no network. Just an instinct for people and property that most trained professionals never develop.

Nothing was given.Everything was earned.

His grandmother saw it first. She found the deals, read the sellers, knew a block was turning before anyone else did. His grandfather joined as a second act — learned it beside her, and helped grow it into a real estate and property management operation that scaled past 100 properties. Four decades. By hand. On nothing but conviction and relationships. It ran until a buyer eventually acquired it. That's not a metaphor for how Ainsworth Group and Cardinal operate. It's the actual template.

02 · The Apprenticeship

He took him on rounds as a kid. Collecting rent. Cutting grass. Talking to tenants. He didn't know it then. That was his education.

Not in a classroom. In the field, at his side.

Jeff went on rounds with his grandfather: collecting rent, talking to tenants, doing light maintenance. It wasn't explained — it was shown. What the work looked like. What real ownership required. That was the apprenticeship. The understanding came later, in eight years of enterprise sales, and now in building systems that give local businesses and operators the same edge his family built by hand.

True North

Cardinal direction is absolute. It does not drift. Jeff's other grandfather, a Purple Heart recipient and prisoner of war, had that same quality — discipline, kept under real pressure. People around him always knew where north was because he did.

IV — Cardinal

Intelligence for
better stewardship.

Cardinal is proprietary intelligence software developed by Ainsworth Group. It connects business context, evidence, and execution into one system — helping organizations know what's happening, decide what to do next, and prove it worked. Cardinal is built as one intelligence foundation, specialized by field: Cardinal Business (including Real Estate), Cardinal Church, and Cardinal Medical.
